Imperial MSc Business Analytics Admissions: 2027 Entry Guide
Imperial MSc Business Analytics admissions are the route into Imperial's analytics and management master, since Imperial has no programme called a Master in Analytics and Management (MAM). Its closest equivalent is the MSc Business Analytics & AI, for graduates with a first or upper second-class degree in a quantitative subject, some coding and limited work experience. Imperial calls it highly competitive.

How to stand out in Imperial MSc Business Analytics admissions
- Show code, not just interest. A short project on GitHub says more than a list of courses.
- Prepare for the maths test by revising linear algebra and probability.
- Name a target role in your career essay, such as data scientist in fintech.
- Connect data to business. Show you can explain results to non-technical managers.

Frequently asked questions
Does Imperial offer a Master in Analytics and Management (MAM)?
No. Imperial has no programme with that name. The Imperial analytics master that fits this search is the MSc Business Analytics & AI, a one-year programme that combines machine learning, optimisation and AI with business application. Applicants wanting more management and less coding should also look at the MSc in Management.
Do I need to know how to code to apply?
Not formally, but it helps. Modules use Python, R and SQL from the start, and Imperial says coding experience or interest adds weight. If you have little coding background, complete a recognised online course and build one small project before you apply, and mention both.
