LBS MAM Admissions: Masters in Analytics and Management Guide
LBS MAM admissions are for recent graduates with quantitative degrees who want careers where business and data science meet. You need a strong 2:1 or equivalent in a numerate subject, a GMAT or GRE score (LBS recommends 555 or above on the GMAT) and no more than two years of post-graduation work experience. With about 85 places, the class is small and selective.

What is the LBS Masters in Analytics and Management?
The Masters in Analytics and Management (MAM) is a full-time programme in London lasting 12 to 16 months, with the next intake in August 2027. It combines management fundamentals with data visualisation, machine learning and AI, which you apply to real data sets in a live business project.
The MAM2026 class has 85 students, 48% women and 30 nationalities. The largest groups come from Europe outside the UK (35%), East Asia (32%) and South Asia (17%).
What are the LBS Masters in Analytics and Management requirements?

- Graduation within the last two years, with no more than two years of post-graduation work experience. Internships during your studies do not count.
- A GMAT, GMAT Focus or GRE score taken before you submit.

LBS MAM tuition and salary
LBS MAM tuition for the 2026 intake was around £52,950, plus a £200 Student Association Fee and Global Experience travel. Fees change each year, so check the 2027 figure.
According to the MAM employment report for the class of 2025, 96% received an offer within three months. The mean LBS MAM salary was £45,741. Graduates joined technology (41%), finance (34%) and consulting (18%), 54% work in the UK, and employers include Amazon, Google and JPMorgan Chase.
LBS MAM vs MiM: which should you choose?
Both programmes share the same experience limit, length and fee, so the choice comes down to the work you want to do. The MiM is broad, with a class of about 300 and graduates heading mostly into finance and consulting. The MAM is smaller and data-led, and technology is its largest destination. If you enjoy turning data into decisions, the MAM fits; if you are still exploring industries, start with our guide to LBS MiM admissions. Our London Business School overview covers every option.
How to stand out in LBS MAM admissions
- Prove quantitative ability beyond your transcript, through coding projects, statistics courses or a strong quantitative test section.
- Describe a business problem you want to solve with data, not just the tools you know.
- Apply by Stage 2 if you can, while more places are open.
Frequently asked questions
What LBS MAM GMAT score do I need?
LBS sets no minimum but recommends a GMAT score of 555 or above, and it accepts the GMAT, GMAT Focus and GRE. Because the programme is quantitative, aim to show clear strength in the quantitative section, especially if your degree was not in a technical subject.
Do I need a computer science degree for the LBS MAM?
No. LBS accepts numerate degrees such as economics, engineering, maths, finance, accounting and computer science, or other proof of quantitative ability. If your degree is less technical, show your quantitative skills through your test score, coursework or projects.
How much work experience can I have for LBS MAM admissions?
You must have graduated within the last two years, with no more than two years of post-graduation work experience. Internships taken during your studies do not count towards that limit. If you have more experience and a finance focus, the LBS Masters in Finance may suit you better.
