ESCP's full-time MBA is the MBA in International Management, ranked 22nd in the world in the 2026 FT Global MBA ranking, and shortlisted candidates are interviewed before any decision.

What is the ESCP MBA in International Management?

ESCP does have a full-time MBA, though it is built differently from most. The ESCP MBA in International Management starts every September, is taught in English and can be taken on campus or in a hybrid format. Core modules run from September to May, first in Paris (or online) and then in Berlin or London (or online). Specialisations follow in May and June: Consulting or Entrepreneurship in Madrid, and Luxury or Fintech & Innovation in Turin.

You complete two company consultancy projects in two different countries and a master's thesis, defended in October. Depending on your route, the full programme lasts 10 to 22 months. For senior managers who want to keep working, ESCP runs a separate part-time programme, covered in our guide to ESCP Executive MBA admissions.

The latest ESCP MBA class profile shows 80 to 90 students from more than 22 nationalities, with an average age of 30 and six years of experience. Around 45% come from Asia, 30% from Europe and 7% from the Middle East.

ESCP MBA requirements

  • A four-year degree (240 ECTS) or a master's, plus around three years of work experience. With a three-year bachelor's, you need at least three years of experience and a VAPP validation application.
  • A GMAT, GRE or TAGE MAGE score. If you have none, ESCP offers an in-house test. No minimum score is published.
  • English at C1: IELTS 7, TOEFL 100, Cambridge C1 or TOEIC 950. You may be exempt after three or more years of study or work in English.
  • A CV in English, degree certificates, transcripts and one professional reference.

Our MBA requirements guide explains how to present each element.

ESCP MBA deadlines for the 2027 intake

ESCP MBA admissions follow three steps. You apply online with a €180 fee. Shortlisted candidates are invited to a personal interview, and decisions arrive within about three weeks of it. If admitted, you pay a €5,000 deposit, deducted from tuition.

Tuition and career outcomes

ESCP MBA fees for September 2027 are €57,900 in tuition plus €2,900 of additional fees, around €60,800 in total. Living costs are extra, and fees can change.

The ESCP MBA ranking has risen steadily in the FT Global MBA ranking, from 27th in 2023 and 25th in 2024 to 22nd in 2026. In the 2026 edition the programme ranked 1st in the world for international course experience and 5th for value for money, and the FT reported 100% of graduates employed within three months.

How to stand out in ESCP MBA admissions

  • Explain your campus and specialisation choice. Tie Madrid or Turin, and Consulting, Entrepreneurship, Luxury or Fintech, to a clear post-MBA role.
  • Quantify your impact. Show team size, budgets and results, not just job titles.
  • Use ESCP's CV review before applying to check your fit.
  • Apply in an early round, while you have more choice of timing.

How much work experience do I need for the ESCP MBA?

ESCP asks for around three years of experience after your degree, and the current class averages six. Candidates with less may be considered if they show exceptional maturity and leadership, so stress the quality of your responsibilities.

What GMAT score do I need for the ESCP MBA?
