ESSEC Global MBA deadlines and application process
The first two ESSEC Global MBA deadlines, 26 October 2026 (now closed) and 23 November 2026, carry an Early Bird offer, and the 2026-27 cycle stays open until June 2027. Applying by November also leaves more time to arrange your visa and move to Paris. You complete the online form and essays and pay a €130 fee. If the panel shortlists you, you are invited within two weeks to a 30 to 40-minute ESSEC MBA interview, in person or by video, and you receive a decision within two weeks of it.
ESSEC MBA tuition and career outcomes
Ask ESSEC's admissions advisers for the current ESSEC MBA tuition for the September 2027 intake, as fees change every year, and budget for Paris living costs on top.
The ESSEC MBA ranking has moved fast: up 23 places in the FT 2026 ranking and 46 places over three years. In ESSEC's most recent career survey, 60% of graduates changed sector and 93% changed function.
How to stand out in ESSEC MBA admissions
- Be precise about your switch. With 93% changing function, the panel expects a credible plan: target role, sector, region and the skills you still need.
- Use the labs in your essays. Link your goal to one or two Industry Learning Labs and explain what you will contribute.
- Show international range. ESSEC asks for international experience, so give concrete examples of cross-cultural work.
- Choose referees who have managed you. Their letters should confirm your impact and your readiness for a bigger role.
- Apply early. Earlier deadlines leave room for an interview, a test retake or a backup round.
